Doing What Jesus Would Do

In Luke 6:46, Jesus asked this serious question:   "Why call ye me Lord, Lord, and do not the things I say?"   That question is still relevant for us today.   We are commanded to 'be doers of the Word, not just hearers only'.   In Matthew 25 Jesus said when we feed the hungry, give to the thirsty, receive strangers, clothe the naked, visit the sick and those in prison, we have done it to Him.   He provides the opportunities to let us reflect His Lordship of our life.

Missions is a lifestyle, not just an event.   It is how we live and what we do for Him every day.   We are ambassadors of Jesus Christ as we serve others and, in our doing for others, we serve Him truly.   He commanded us to be "light" in a dark world.   A lit candle used to light another candle loses nothing.   Rather, more light is created when they join together to do what they were created to do.

Will you partner with us and, more importantly Jesus Christ, in what He called us to do and be?   After all, missions is simply "doing what Jesus would do."

Objectives for Missions

As individuals and as a church body:

We share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with whosoever, wheresoever, whensoever, and howsoever.

Our outreach efforts are Christ-centered, people-oriented, & need-sensitive.

We nurture and encourage each other to grow in spiritual maturity.

We are faithful and accountable stewards of our time, energy, resources, & spiritual gifts in our ministries to build His Kingdom.
