The Ministry of Elders
Exodus 18:21, 22 "Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens....for they will bear the burden with you."
The elders provide pastoral care, and assist in ministering to the flock of God. Each elder and his wife are responsible for an "oversight," a group of families within the church body. Elders are an arm of the pastoral staff to the congregation and assist in visiting hospitals, facilitating connectivity to the church, providing encouragement and a host of other ministry services. Our elders are listed below.
