Restoration Chaplains Association

Purpose

The Restoration Chaplains Association (RCA) is a new ministry under the umbrella of the House of Restoration. We send chaplains into the Clermont County Juvenile Detention Center (JDC) to conduct services and provide spiritual counselling on a weekly basis. RCA is comprised of 24 chaplains who are highly trained and deeply involved in hand-on ministry.

Mission Statement

To present Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation to juveniles and staff members each and every time a chaplain service is held, while complying with the rules of the institution and of chaplains ministries.

Vision Statement

To equip and train chaplains to be their best so that no opportunity is missed in sharing the gospel and planting seeds to make a difference in the lives of people.

Goals

1. To provide training sessions and meeting forums for the cross-denominational chaplains to better equip them to prepare and present the gospel in creative and effective ways.
2. To expand the ministry of RCA to include the Clermont County Jail as well as surrounding institutions.
3. To make our chaplains realize that they are valued and appreciated for their efforts.
4. To make each chaplain feel a part of the overall process; services, counseling, donations of Bibles and toys for JDC.
5. To create a resource website for juveniles to utilize upon their release to find encouragement and other pertinent resources.
