Kindle, formerly known as The Journey, has been a growing and thriving ministry at the House of Restoration for the past four to five years. We are a Young Adult ministry that seeks to connect young adults to the local church, to give them a place where they feel accepted by their peers, and where they feel part of something larger than themselves. We offer a wide range of activities and outreach opportunities.   

Each month we alternate between ministry outreach and casual leisure activities. Here are just a few examples; Matthew 25 Ministries (clothing/product drive), Manna Outreach(Food to the homeless), Mercy Maternity Home(helping unwed mothers) an annual trip/retreat, Reds games, movie nights, etc.  In addition to our regular outings, we also offer a Young Adult Bible Study/Discussion Group every Sunday Morning.  This is a great way to openly discuss the current problems we face as young adults, and how the word of God applies to helping us overcome those issues.  

Our goal is to help young adults/college aged students grow in Christ, build relationships with each other,  and to make them productive in the kingdom of God, to be an extension of the local church to a lost and dying world.
